Festival background and culture
The Queensland Multicultural Festival is Queensland’s largest, free, one-day community event.
The Festival was developed by the Queensland Government to promote the importance of cultural diversity in the Smart State, and to provide Queenslanders with an annual celebratory event focused on multiculturalism.
The Queensland Government extend their thanks to all who have contributed to the success of the festival in the past including:
- sponsors
- performers
- community groups
- food stall holders
- information stall holders
- artists
- volunteers and crew
