The 2008 Queensland Multicultural Festival is on again and will be held at Roma Street Parkland on Sunday 12 October.
Now in its fifth year, the Queensland Multicultural Festival is Queensland’s largest, free, one-day community event.
In 2008 the program is as diverse as ever, offering a free and exciting day for people of all ages. This year's entertainment includes:
- five performance stages
- 30 international food stalls
- cooking demonstrations
- children’s activities
- join-in activities
- guest appearances by Queensland Roar players.
Canadian music doyen, Harry Manx, will headline this year's festival with a hypnotic live show that captures a vibrant and unique blend of Mississippi Delta Blues and Indian Ragas.
Queensland sensations Katie Noonan and Doch will also perform at the 2008 Queensland Multicultural Festival.
