More than 45,000 people discovered diversity at the 2007 Queensland Multicultural Festival at Roma Street Parkland
on Sunday 14 October. Deborah Conway, Willy Zygier and Bobby Flynn headlined the festival with special performances from
local stars Doch, Flamenco Indo Jazz and much more.
The 2007 festival featured a broad range of activities including:
- Local stars - Doch and Flamenco Indo Jazz
- Caravan - gypsy style festival procession
- Family Festival - workshops by Hands On Art
- Diverse deli - over 35 international food stalls and cafes
- Diverse craft stalls - traditional crafts from diverse cultures
- Information stalls - community cultural associations
- Lake stage - with world and jazz music
- QUT dance stage - community music and dance
- Amphitheatre - rock, world, and jazz music
In 2007 , there was an extensive program of events in the lead to the festival, including Diversity Writes, Diversity Talks, a new film festival Four Films Four Fiddlers and Uppin' the Amphi Youth Concert.
