Introduction
The Multicultural Summit was organised by Multicultural Affairs Queensland with the aim of promoting multiculturalism by facilitating collaboration and partnerships between government, community groups, religious groups, the tertiary sector and other stakeholders.
The Summit:
- explored different views of multiculturalism
- examined good practice in the field, collaboration and partnerships
- examined ways of building the capacity of community organisations
- discussed the challenges of promoting multiculturalism and future directions.
